Welcome to the Capstone!
Congratulations on your acceptance to The University of Alabama and on behalf of our professional and student staff, I want to welcome you to our on-campus community. In preparation for move-in, we're busy working to ensure the readiness of our communities for the fall. More than 7,700 students will call the UA campus home this year, and we want living on campus to be a great experience for you.
Much of your experience will depend on the effort that you put into your community. As our name states, we believe in communities - people working together to create a positive, supportive campus. Living in a genuine community is a great way to anchor your experience here at UA. To help you in your transition to campus life, each resident will be assigned to a Resident Advisor, a student leader who lives in the same community and will assist you in navigating the UA campus and culture. Our RAs are outstanding students, peer advisors and campus leaders dedicated to your living environment and your success.
